Patrice Murrell blazed onto the music scene with chart-topping hits which have solidified her as one of the hottest recording artists and entertainers to emerge from The Bahamas. She has years of world-class performances under her belt. After a successful 2018 with her massive hit “Feelin’ Good” enjoying considerable radio airplay and streams on all major online platforms and with deejays locally and internationally, the beautiful and talented Bahamian diva released three amazing tracks – "Rest of My Life", “Cuz A Da Wine” and “T.O.M.” – that had listeners moving straight through 2019 and beyond. Her latest single/music video, “Heavyweight”, features Marvin “Swappi” Davis, the reigning 2019 Groovy Soca Monarch from Trinidad. It has already received rave reviews and radio spins locally, regionally and internationally. The song is her first featuring a prominent recording artist from the land of soca. “Heavyweight” is the first of what will be many hits released by Patrice this year. It was written by Seumas "Azaryah" Callender and Swappi; and produced, mixed and mastered by Trinidadian super producer Johann Seaton of MadMen Productions and Ultimate Rejects, with added percussion by Frederick "Got Stykz" Seymour.

Within the past few years, Patrice has received multiple awards for her success as a singer/songwriter.  Most notable are a Bahamas Top Music Award for her song 'Come 2 Wave' and Contemporary Song of the year for 'Feelin' Good' (Elevation Awards). As a first-time entry Patrice was chosen as a finalist for the 2017 Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Music Masters Competition. Thus far for 2020, she has already been nominated for three awards “Female Artist of the Year”, “Soca Song of the Year” (Elevation Awards) and “The People’s Choice Award” (Ministry of Tourism Cacique Awards).

Refusing to slow down, Patrice continues to release trailblazing music and lights up every stage she hits. Patrice enjoys using music to create a unique sound, fusing indigenous Junkanoo and rake n' scrape with soca, pop and electronic dance music. A captivating performer, Patrice is known for her powerful vocals and engaging stage presence. She describes her music as fun, sexy and liberating; all which celebrate the Bahamian spirit.

During her career, Patrice has graced the stage with legendary acts and music icons including Michael Jackson, Bryan McKnight, Donnie McClurklin, and Bebe and Cece Winans. She has performed throughout the Caribbean, the United States and Europe. Among the many events Patrice has performed at are: Miss Bahamas World Pageant, Alpha Sounds Carnival Survival Weekend, Bahamian Icon Awards, The Cacique Awards, Ministry of Tourism Junkanoo Independence and Summer Festivals, One Caribbean Unite & Rebuild Trinidad Concert, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Battle 4 Atlantis NCAA Tournament (half time shows), and The Kes and Rupee concert. Patrice is also a model and actress, having graced national print and broadcast ads for and co-hosted television shows on PBS and ILTV.

In addition to all of her accomplishments in the entertainment arena, Patrice also holds a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University, a degree in finance and accounting from Palm Beach Atlantic University and other professional certifications. Her philanthropic efforts involve donating and giving back to the Bahamas Cancer Society (an organization very dear to her) and R.E.A.C.H Bahamas. An advocate for healthy lifestyles, Patrice co-founded Zumba Flex Fitness, an innovative exercise program which donates part of its proceeds to the Cancer Society and an annual Zumba Fitness Event which has recently donated proceeds to the victims of Hurricane Dorian.

On a mission to inspire others, she considers her journey and accomplishments a testament to all that can be achieved with dedication, hard work, drive and passion.
