Patrice Murrell blazed onto the music scene with chart-topping hits which have solidified her as one of the hottest recording artists and entertainers to emerge from The Bahamas. She has years of world-class performances under her belt. After a successful 2018 with her massive hit “Feelin’ Good” enjoying considerable radio airplay and streams on all major online platforms and with deejays locally and internationally, the beautiful and talented Bahamian diva released three amazing tracks – "Rest of My Life", “Cuz A Da Wine” and “T.O.M.” – that had listeners moving straight through 2019 and beyond. Her latest single/music video, “Heavyweight”, features Marvin “Swappi” Davis, the reigning 2019 Groovy Soca Monarch from Trinidad. It has already received rave reviews and radio spins locally, regionally and internationally. The song is her first featuring a prominent recording artist from the land of soca. “Heavyweight” is the first of what will be many hits released by Patrice this year. It was written by Seumas "Azaryah" Callender and Swappi; and produced, mixed and mastered by Trinidadian super producer Johann Seaton of MadMen Productions and Ultimate Rejects, with added percussion by Frederick "Got Stykz" Seymour.
